Required measurements
These measurements are required to generate a suggested size.
How to measure required fields
Waist
- Button the jeans.
- Lay them flat with the top front edge of the waistband aligned evenly with the top back edge.
- Make sure the waistband is straight and parallel, then pull it snug.
- Measure straight across the waistband from one edge to the other.
- Double that number before entering it here.
If the waistband is drooping, not parallel, or not pulled snug, the measurement will be inaccurate.
Upper Thigh
- Lay the jeans flat.
- Place the measuring tape at the far edge of the crotch seam.
- Measure straight across to the outside edge of the leg.
Measure straight across from the crotch seam. Do not follow the curve of the fabric.
Shoulder
- Button up the garment.
- Lay the garment flat, front facing down, with the arms in a V shape.
- Measure from one shoulder seam to the other.
Pit to Pit
- Button up the garment.
- Lay the garment flat, face up, with the arms in a T shape.
- Measure from the edge of one armpit seam straight across to the other.
Sleeve Length
- Lay the garment flat.
- Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

How to measure - Help
Front rise
- Button the jeans and lay them flat.
- Smooth out the front rise.
- Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.
Back rise
- Button the jeans and lay them flat.
- Smooth out the back rise.
- Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.
Knee
- Lay the jeans flat.
- Measure 12 inches down the inseam from the crotch.
- Measure straight across the leg at that point.
Leg opening
- Lay the jeans flat.
- Measure straight across the hem from edge to edge.
Inseam
- Lay the jeans flat and smooth the inseam.
- Measure from the crotch seam down the inseam to the hem.

- Lay the garment flat, front facing down, with the arms in a V shape.
- Measure from where the collar band attaches to the yoke straight down the middle.
- Measure to the longest point of the hem.

The Blood Brothers Selvedge is a 20oz Japanese selvedge denim developed for our collaboration with Rose Anvil. Built with a red-core warp yarn, an indigo rope-dyed exterior, and a black weft, this denim was created as the denim counterpart to Rose Anvil’s custom Blood Core leather, a dark black leather that develops a red patina with wear.
For this limited edition, we developed a heavyweight warp yarn first dyed with a reactive red dye, saturating it all the way to the core. The yarn is then rope-dyed in indigo, building layers of blue over the red center while keeping the core red. As the denim breaks in and the indigo fades from the surface, the red core is revealed. Cut into the fabric and you can even see the red at the center of the yarn.
The denim is woven with a black weft, giving the inside of the fabric the same dark, rugged character as Blood Core leather. Built at a heavyweight 20oz, the fabric starts rigid and structured, with serious fading potential for anyone who likes denim that fights back a little.
Details include a white and red selvedge edge, red lock stitch, blood-red fly buttonhole stitching, tone-on-tone stitching, black hardware, black pocket bags, and a custom Blood Core leather patch featuring Weston Kay cutting our tragic blonde in half. Each pair also comes with a matching sticker.

We offer worldwide shipping primarily through FedEx. Orders to PO Box addresses are shipped via Canada Post. Domestic Canadian shipments may also be shipped via Canpar or Canada Post. Note: we cannot ship to Russia at this time.

Returns
- We do not offer refunds; items may be returned for store credit (in the form of a gift card) within 30 days of order fulfillment. Items must be in new condition with original tags—unworn, unaltered, unwashed, and damage-free. Sale items are final sale and not eligible for store credit.
If the purchase was made in Canadian Dollars, store credit is issued in USD at the exchange rate at the time the credit is issued. At checkout, this credit is converted back to CAD.

Blood Brothers
It began when Weston Kay of Rose Anvil noticed our Elephant 13 Red Core Selvedge, a heavyweight indigo denim designed to reveal red with wear. Inspired by the connection to Rose Anvil’s Blood Core leather, he turned a pair into sample boots with Russell Moccasin. When we saw the video, we knew the project had to happen.
That original idea evolved into Blood Brothers Selvedge, a new 20oz Japanese selvedge denim developed specifically for this collaboration between Naked & Famous Denim, Rose Anvil, and Russell Moccasin.
Haven’t had the chance to wear them as much as I would like to but they are awesome, heel bite looks great, never had a pair of jeans like them. Customer service has also been incredible so I am definitely looking forward to snagging another pair of naked and famous jeans.
Would be a 5 but the size chart was a bit inaccurate for my pair. I double checked the size chart of my other 20oz jeans (35inches), and got a corresponding size for the BB's. When the BB's arrived they felt a bit big and when i measured with a measuring tape, they were actually 36 inches. Even after a hot soak and hot dry they didnt really shrink down to 35 inches. Would've gotten a size down had i known :(. Still love you though <3
This was my first pair of 20oz jeans, and they were full of surprises.
At first, they were so stiff that I could barely fasten the buttons. It even took me around 10 minutes just to button them up.
They were also tiring to wear on long walks because of the stiffness.
However, every time I wore them, I could feel them changing. The moment I realized the buttons had become easier to fasten was incredibly satisfying.
I think this gradual transformation is one of the greatest joys of 20oz denim.
I’m also very excited to see the red core begin to reveal itself as they continue to age.
These jeans have made me realize that the real enjoyment begins after you buy them.
Keep it up
I do very much love it, but i think the only downside is that because it needed to be dyed so heavily to look black if it rains the blue transfers over to my shirts
Amazing fabric and the fit is perfect
No fading yet. Not exactly counting wears, but I love the denim so far. First pair of N&F, so I got tough guy in 36. I'm 5'10" 180lbs and they were very baggy. Got them taken in 2 inches and hemmed 2 inches, but still love the hell out of them. Updates when fading.
